In Thailand, Rosella tea is a popular drink.
The use of herbal remedies, including the herb rosella (roselle, Jamaica sorrel, karkadé), classified as Hibiscus sabdariffa, are popular as an alternative to standard Western allopathic medicine for proper kidney functioning, clearing up mucus and opening a blocked nose.
Hibiscus tea is the infusion made from the calyces (sepals) of the Hibiscus sabdariffa flower, a herbal tea drink consumed hot or cold around the world to strengthen the immune system and fight off colds and infections.
