In Thailand, Rosella tea is a popular drink.

The use of herbal remedies, including the herb rosella (roselle, Jamaica sorrel, karkadé), classified as Hibiscus sabdariffa, are popular as an alternative to standard Western allopathic medicine for proper kidney functioning, clearing up mucus and opening a blocked nose.

Hibiscus tea is the infusion made from the calyces (sepals) of the Hibiscus sabdariffa flower, a herbal tea drink consumed hot or cold around the world to strengthen the immune system and fight off colds and infections.

- For proper kidney functioning, clearing up mucus and opening a blocked nose.

- To prevent bladder infections and constipation

- After meals to reduce the absorption of dietary carbohydrates so recommended in case of  weight loss program.
It is also a good support in case of high blood pressure

The tea contains vitamin C and minerals and is used traditionally as a mild medicine.

Hibiscus tea contains 15-30% organic acids, including citric acid, maleic acid, and tartaric acid. It also contains acidic polysaccharides and flavonoid glycosides, such as cyanidin and delphinidin, that give it its characteristic deep red colour.

Premature aging is characterized by damage to the skin, making it look dull and wrinkled with dark moles.

This is caused by a lack of vitamin C and free radicals that damage the skin.

When aging, health problems can be accelerated due to bad lifestyle habits of unhealthy eating (lack of calcium), smoking, drinking alcohol, rarely exercise and stress.

The aging process begins at 25 and at 40, calcium and other minerals in the bones decreases more quickly.

For women, bone loss happens more rapidly.

To prevent brittle bones (decalcification) and premature aging, we can consume calcium and vitamin C or the antioxidant Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa Linn.)

It also reduces menopause symptoms

Rosella Side Effect : Because of its acid content rosella can potentially cause stomach pain due to excess stomach acid. To avoid stomachaches, consume after food when the stomach is not empty.
