Amalaki fruit (or Amla or Indian Gooseberry) is one of the most popular fruits in Ayurveda medicine (Indian medicine) and is well known as the powerful rejuvenating medicine.
The fruit is an important source of Vitamin C and has the highest content of Vitamin C of any natural resource (445 mg /100g).
Amalaki trees grow widely in northern Thailand and the organic fruits are harvested by our famers with great care.
Amalaki is mainly active and a great support for the circulation, digestion and elimination of toxins. It stimulates and detoxifies the digestive system (stomach, liver and colon), it nourishes the blood and it supports a healthy cholesterol level.
The Ayurveda Medicine and other traditional approaches consider diseases will emerge in the colon. When impurities are not drained properly, the body will begin to show discomfort or disharmony. The accumulation of toxic interferes with the proper functioning of the body and the organs. The Ayurveda Medicine says for example: “When the sinuses are congested, clean the colon”.
Amalaki is a very powerful antioxidant and it is well-known for its ability to nourish the skin and improving the skin health.
Because Amalaki is very rich in vitamin C, it has an astringent effect: it cleans and illuminates the skin.
